Romo Rouf Chowdhury is one of those who are walking in the business arena of the country with self-confidence. His father Abdur Rouf Chowdhury is one of the leading entrepreneurs and businessman of the country. He is the founder of the famous industrial empire Rangs Group. Romo Rouf Chowdhury, a worthy son of an accomplished industrialist, was born on June 6, 1972 in Gulshan, Dhaka. His mother Zakia Rouf Chowdhury is a social worker.
Talented young Romo Rouf Chowdhury has left a mark of achievement in his educational life. He graduated in civil engineering from Durham University in the United Kingdom. Despite having ample opportunity to stay abroad, this highly educated engineer has taken an initiative to mobilize his father’s industrial establishments by returning to the country for the cause of soil and its people. For him the development of the country is much more desirable than the comfort of personal life.
He thinks that the stronger Bangladesh is in the economic field, the more it will be possible to change the destiny of the common people. To achieve this goal, he has devoted himself to further consolidating the organizations of the Rangs Group. With his sincere touch, Rangs Group has already established itself as a top level industrial group in the country. He is currently the Deputy Managing Director of Rangs Group.
Rangs Group is one of the largest Bangladeshi industrial conglomerates. The industries under this conglomerate include automobiles assembly and distribution, public transportation, real estate and construction development, pharmaceuticals, interior design, telecommunication as well as FMCG manufacturing and distribution.
Rangs Group is involved in many social activities under its corporate social responsibility (CSR) program. Khushi Bidya Niketon is a primary school established by the group to provide free education to thousands of students in Satkhira. In the spirit of entrepreneurship, resources are constantly provided to unemployed and underprivileged people in the remotest parts of the country. Through the implementation of a waste management system and resource optimization, Rangs Group continuously solidifies its stance as an environment-friendly organization.
Romo Rouf Chowdhury, a visionary entrepreneurial personality engineer, believes that the people of this country are hard-working. They have continued to make every effort to change their destiny. He has always dreams of an industrialized Bangladesh. According to him, the multi-party democratic system of this country is as laudable as the mutual suspicion and mistrust among the political leaders destabilizes the country.

Romo Rouf Chowdhury thinks consensus is needed among the leaders for the greater interest of the country. He is a member of several elite clubs in the country. Among them American Club, Kumirtola Club, Dhaka Club, Gulshan Club, Pan Pacific Sonargaon are some of them. He has traveled to different countries for education and work.
