Mohammed Selim is the Chairman of the Al Falaq Group. He is one of the successful NRB from UAE. He was born in Foteabad, Hathhaazari, Chittagong on 1st August 1969. His parents are Hajee Abdus Sabur and Rezia Begum.
Mohammed Selim is married to Bibi Joynab and is blessed with two daughters and one son. He is a successful entrepreneur. He is also the proprietor of RDS Trade International (Exporter), SIMRAN Trade International, RDS Trade International (Importer), RDS Properties, Chattala Bricks in Bangladesh and abroad.
Mohammed Selim is the life member of Fateyabad Adarsha Bohumukhi Uccho Bidyaloy, Akbaria School & College Chottogram, Work for Disable and FAMA Global Business USA. He is also the member of Bangladesh Fruits,Vegetables Allied Products Exports Association and Bangladesh Agro-Processors’ Association (BAPA).
He has been playing a significant role in the economy of Bangladesh through the growth of his business and for this he has been awarded various honors by the Government of Bangladesh at various times. He has been honored as Commercially Important Person (CIP) for 4 consecutive years 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018 by the Government of the Peoples’ Republic of Bangladesh for sending remittance by proper channel.
He was also awarded the prestigious ‘Bangladesh Bank Remittance Award’ consecutively for 2 years 2014 and 2015 in recognition of his highest remittance/investment into Bangladesh. He also received “Best Remitter” for the Second Highest Tax Payer in Chottogram District (2018-2019). Mohammed Selim is the Vice President of NRB CIP Association. He is constantly working for the welfare of expatriate Bangladeshis.
