Mohammed Akther Parvez was born and brought up in Chattogram, Bangladesh. After his graduation in Business Communication from the University of Canberra, Australia in 2004, he has joined his family business.
He was elected President of Overseas Student Organization (2003), University of Canberra Australia, and student Ambassador (2004), University of Canberra, Australia. He has travelled to all the major countries of the world pursuing his family business. The travel took its toll on the youngest family member with many years of experience. He is the youngest son of Alhaj Sufi Mohamed Mizanur Rahman who is one of the prominent business leaders of the country.
He has the ability to see the past, present, and future and with that capacity, he has contributed his potential to achieve the goals of the PHP family in totality as one of the largest conglomerates in Bangladesh. Md. Akther Parvez oversees his company budget of more than 900 million taka and is responsible for the overall management of regular staff of 100+ and more than 1200 seasonal employees.
Akther Parvez is passionate to take the challenge to make losing or less profitable business concern into a profitable enterprise by proper nourishing and guidelines.
He has successfully led the PHP Family in the Share & Bond market in the main Stream of Business. Having a keen interest in this sector, it has driven him to establish six branch offices all over the country holdings both in Chattogram and Dhaka stock exchange TREC holders.
An involved community member, Akther Parvez has been active in education, sports, and spiritualism to promote among the young generation to be focused on the development and active in building a healthy society. He is actively involved in many philanthropic organizations.
With a dream to be pioneer in the automobile manufacturing industry in Bangladesh, Parvez took the challenge to set up the first car assembling plant as a private organization with collaboration with Proton Malaysia. Besides, the organization is also involved in assembling two-wheelers.
Besides assembling Proton Vehicles, he also runs a full-fledged RND Team consisting of many expert Engineers of Automobiles Industries aiming to produce countries first Commercial Electric vehicles. Already few prototypes vehicles have been manufactured by the RND team which has under the direct supervision of Md. Akther Parvez. Now to improve those Electric vehicles he is working with Lithium ION Technology. He visualizes Bangladesh will be a pollution-free country with the mass use of electric vehicles within the next decades.
Md. Akther Parvez resides in Chattogram and happily married to Tazneen Mehzabeen Parvez. They have been blessed with 2 sons and 1 daughter.
