He is associated with the world-renowned EskeGen in Bangladesh and works there as Research Director. It is affiliated with the top level Chemical Research Organization (CRO) in Bangladesh. The company continues to contribute to the activities of domestic and foreign pharmaceutical biotechnology and medical device clients, healthcare research and medical institutions.
Dr. Nasir Uddin, a skilled and experienced researcher, holds BS and MS degrees in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Dhaka University. He holds a PhD in Molecular Medicine from the renowned GIFU University in Japan. He is a Fellow of the Post-Doctoral Fellowship from the Japanese Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) for the period 2003-2005. He is a Fellow of the American Heart Association. Self-confident medical scientist Dr. Nasir Uddin served as a counselor for the Central Society for Clinical and Translational Research (CSCTR) from 2017 to 2020.
This charioteer of advanced medical management in the world is involved in numerous important research works and he has presented more than 100 world researches papers. His more than two hundred research papers have been published in international medical journals.
Biomedical scientist Dr. Nasir Uddin is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Emergent Biotechnologies LLC. The company started its journey on July 1, 2018 at Temple in Texas with its meritorious initiative. He is the founder of the Glion Institute of Higher Education. It continues to function as a non-profit research institute. Since 2017, this talented biomedical scientist has been a faculty member of Texas A&M Health Science Center College of Medicine in Temple, Texas.
He is not only involved in teaching in abroad but also in Bangladesh. He is a Visiting Professor of Allied Health Sciences at Daffodil International University. Since 2016, he has also been a Visiting Professor at BRAC University. Since 2016, he has been taking classes as a Visiting Professor in the Department of Public Health at North South University. This talented teacher has been serving as the Adjunct Faculty of Biology at Texas A&M University in Central Texas, Killen, Texas since 2015. He is a teacher of Molecular Biology, Proteomics and Virology there. He is also playing an important role in research. Since January 8, 2015, he has been working as the Research Director of EskeGen, one of the leading companies in Bangladesh.
He has been engaged with Fellow of the American Heart Association (FAHA) for over a decade. He has worked at the US-Japan JSPS Bridge Fellow at Gifu University, Japan in 2020. He was previously a council member of the Central Society for Clinical and Translational Research from 2017 to 2020. From 2011 to 2017, he was a faculty member in the OB/GYM department at Texas A&M Health Science Center College of Medicine. During this time he served as Research Director of the OB/GYN Residency & Neonatology Fellowship at Baylor Scott & White Health. He was a postdoctoral scholar in Hypertension & Nephrology at Texas A&M Health Science Center College of Medicine from 2006 to 2009. He was a visiting faculty member of the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Jahangirnagar University in the country.
Dr. Nasir Uddin is one of the most talented students in the country who had a glorious student life. He obtained his post-graduate degree from the Department of Biochemistry & Molecular Biology of Dhaka University in 1986 and his PhD in Biochemistry from GIFU University, Japan in 2000.
This accomplished son of Brahmanbaria in greater Cumilla was a knowledge seeker personality of his time. Dr. Nasir Uddin is currently a resident of Austin, Texas, USA.
In addition to active teaching and research, this eminent academician from home and abroad has set up a startup biotech company in 2018. As soon as he got time, he enjoyed various festivals. He was the advisor of ‘Ustab Austin’ 20, the victory day of Bangladesh on December 16. ‘Shob Kota Janala Khule Dao Na’ is his favorite song. His daughter Afroze Midori (Afroz Midori) can sing the song very well.
