M.A. Jalil Ananta, the Chairman and Managing Director of AJI group is a farsighted entrepreneur. Observing the successful growth of RMG sector of the country he decided to get involved in this prospective sector. Unlike other entrepreneurs in the beginning he joined as an operator in a garment industry to gain practical knowledge about this industry instead of setting up a full scale garment industry. Within a short time he became the General Manager (Production) and acquired sufficient knowledge in the production sector of a Garment Industry.
At that time he realized that he was fully capable of entering the international apparel arena. In 1995 he established his own garment factory in the name of AJI Apparels Industry Limited as a small scale industry.
With sheer dynamism Jalil Ananta, one of the youngest CIPs of the country achieved tremendous success and shifted to his own premise in Hemayetpur, Savar, Dhaka. He also started two other companies titled FRM Fashion House Limited and Polo Composite Knit Industry.
The corporate office of AJI Group is located at Group’s own Building in Hemayetpur near the capital city, Dhaka of Bangladesh.
While designing the building the management gave top priority to issues like environment of factory premise and its surrounding areas, occupational health and safety of the workers and a Medical centre to provide free medical treatment along with the medicine for the employees. As a social welfare project the Group runs a full-fledged Child Care Centre. The centre provides many exciting facilities for the employee’s children where they can play and learn free of cost.
The Woven units of AJI Group have completed the code of conducts of SRG Imports Limited of UK, Rajan Imports of UK, Juice Corporation from UK, Chan ke Jewels from UK, Jordache Inc. of USA and Polo Assang Inc of USA.
Polo Composite Knit Industry is a complete composite Industry of knitting, Dying, Printing, Embroidery and Washing unit facilities.
The latest brand machines from globally known European manufacturers like Sclavos for dying, Mayer & CIE for knitting and Santex for finishing were set up in the Composite Industry for producing highest quality products to satisfy the overseas customers.
Jalil Ananta said that with sincere support of his principals, dedicated team work of his executives and workers the AJI Group has developed a grand success story in the RMG sector of Bangladesh within a very short span of time.
